1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how SpikeLive (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our volleyball scoreboard application. By using SpikeLive, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide:
Team names and game scores you enter manually
Facebook, YouTube, or Twitch account information when you connect your account for live streaming
Custom RTMP server URLs and stream keys you enter manually when using the custom streaming option
Information Collected Automatically:
Device type and operating system version (iPhone / Apple Watch)
App usage data and crash reports (via Apple’s built-in diagnostics)
General location data if location services are enabled
Information from Third Parties:
When you connect to Facebook Live, YouTube Live, or Twitch, each respective platform may share basic profile information with us — such as your name and profile picture — in order to authenticate your account and enable streaming.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Operate and improve the App
Enable live streaming to Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Twitch, and custom RTMP destinations
Diagnose technical issues and crashes
Communicate with you regarding updates or support
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Facebook Integration
SpikeLive uses the Facebook API to enable live streaming of volleyball scores. When you connect your Facebook account:
You authorize SpikeLive to publish live video to your Facebook profile, page, or group on your behalf
Facebook collects and processes data according to their own Privacy Policy
You can revoke SpikeLive’s access to your Facebook account at any time through your Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites

5. YouTube Live Integration
SpikeLive uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Live Streaming API to enable live streaming of volleyball scores to YouTube. When you connect your Google/YouTube account:
You authorize SpikeLive to create and manage live streams on your YouTube channel on your behalf
Google and YouTube collect and process data according to their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
SpikeLive’s use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms)
Google’s Privacy Policy applies to data collected through YouTube API Services (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
You can revoke SpikeLive’s access to your Google/YouTube account at any time through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

6. Twitch Integration
SpikeLive uses the Twitch API to enable live streaming of volleyball scores to Twitch. When you connect your Twitch account:
You authorize SpikeLive to broadcast live video to your Twitch channel on your behalf
Twitch collects and processes data according to their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
You can revoke SpikeLive’s access to your Twitch account at any time through your Twitch Settings under Connections

7. Custom RTMP Streaming
SpikeLive supports streaming to any RTMP-compatible destination such as custom media servers, sports platforms, or other streaming services. When you use this feature:
You manually enter an RTMP server URL and stream key, which are stored locally on your device only
Stream keys are sensitive credentials — SpikeLive does not transmit or share them with any third party
You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policy and terms of service of any third-party RTMP destination you connect to
SpikeLive has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the data practices of custom RTMP destinations
We recommend keeping your RTMP stream keys private and rotating them periodically for security.
8. Apple Watch
The SpikeLive Apple Watch companion app communicates with your iPhone to sync score data in real time. No additional personal data is collected through the Watch app beyond what is described in this policy.
9. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Score and game data entered in the App is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless required for streaming functionality.
We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk.
10. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App’s functionality. You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data from your device.
11. Children’s Privacy
SpikeLive is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
