The watch app communicates with your iPhone in real time. If you see ‘iPhone not reachable’ at the bottom of the watch screen, it means the watch has temporarily lost its connection to your phone. This can happen if:
Your iPhone is out of Bluetooth range
The SpikeLive app is not running in the foreground on your iPhone
Your iPhone’s screen is locked and background refresh is restricted
Simply bring your iPhone closer or open the SpikeLive app on your phone to restore the connection.
Tips & Best Practices
Set up team names in Settings before starting your match for a more professional stream
Test your streaming connection before the game starts to avoid delays
For YouTube and Twitch, connect your accounts in Settings ahead of time so you’re ready to go live quickly
For Custom RTMP, confirm your Server URL and Stream Key are correct before the match
Use your Apple Watch to score points when your phone is set up for filming
Keep your iPhone plugged in or fully charged during long matches and live streams
Wi-Fi is recommended for all streaming destinations; RTMP streams especially benefit from a stable connection
If a score is entered incorrectly, use the −1 button to correct it immediately
The deciding set automatically uses your configured Deciding Set Pts value
